Optasia shareholders have concluded a sale agreement whereby an existing shareholder has acquired a further 13.0% shareholding in Optasia from other shareholders, including certain TRG Funds. The Transaction valued Optasia at a 31 December 2024 enterprise valuation of US$1 billion (representing a 12.8x EV\EBITDA multiple).

Optasia currently operates in 40 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Europe. Through its network of distribution and financial partners, the business has unique access to over 900 million subscribers via over 60 deployments. Optasia’s technology platform enabled c.US$3.8 billion in distributed financing value for the year ended 31 December 2024.
